When mod files are read, partial cropping of the name occurs when using [] in the name.

Example:
[NAME:[New container]]


Some special characters cause interesting 'issues' with the game.. generally because people do things that the game 'tries' to deal with (which I've done a time or two).
For your example: [NAME:
  is the tag and the first ']' in your naming is interpreted as the close bracket of the tag. The second open '[' bracket is just treated as text.

I'm really enjoying target shooting in my barn, which is a 17 yard distance, and I manage to average 60-70% hits on a letter-size paper, shooting 48 arrows 2-4 times per week.

Remember you can only gain 3 skill points per day :D

 Seriously though, that's awesome. To bad it can't be used against the dreaded plant.

 Depends on factors like; Actually seeing game, types of terrain to use, and other 'people'.

Be away from villages by a few tiles (min. for me)
Find areas where marshes or mires meet forests. Areas where forest surrounds mountains etc.
Any areas where I actively see migrating animals.

 I usually build my trap fences about 1~2 steps into the forest edge bordering mire/marsh/mountain, make use of in place trees to help build wall/fence.

I usually wind up with 3~6 trap lines which I will check on a route. 1 ~ 60 tiles away depending on what the world looks like.
Lines that produce well end up with shelter and cellar. Usually about 2~4 days to complete routes.

You should be checking your trap line every few days, to once a week.

I believe this is not a bug, but by design.

Things may have been 'tightened up' cleaned up with the in game addition of many of the supported garments.

..just guessing..

It was after you had contributed over $35.00 (usd) to the game. Many still made/make donations periodically donating to the game.

 Just spit balling;

One of the 'issues' with mod 'creativity' is that it must all be defined in flat file prior to playing.
@Weathereye made a cool windows app? that allowed for more simple swapping in and out mods https://www.unrealworld.fi/forums/index.php?topic=67.0

Being able to ADD item(s) to craftable files based on some goal, ie: learning bone craft or metal working.
Would provide an environment where things like 'shaman mod' could exist.
