What I really would like to fix would be not to allow cellars being built inside - and yes, also that the smoking would require constant care of the fire and room temperature.

I can wear and take off a single bandage in the wear/take_off screens. Is there a purpose to wearing one?

I'm curious where it would 'wear' it to, and what the coverage would be  ???

The harvest seems dynamic (range) I harvested two (2) trees  next to each other w/knife(decent) and got 75' and 86' respectively.
The weight(s) were just over 1lb

- modding add: header tag to specify companion help possibility for do-it-yourself crafts and building

        There is a new tag to be used in biy_* and diy_* headers:

        This defines maximum number of companions whose labor input can help to shorten the working time

Since the game didn't give credit for the pig (Instantly completing the task) I'm gonna say 99.8% sure you need another animal.

So since you've got your rant out of the way.

IF you want to actually show, tell or fix something that 'may' be real.
1) Zip your character folder
2) Depending on size either email it to Sami with a calm description of the events, OR upload it to a free share like tinyfile and email the link to Sami with a calm description of the events.

3) Wait for a response

The ability to select 'who' on that tile has been lacking and it's a very good and timely suggestion.
