As I've read on the wiki, there hasn't been a bear pipe and a dog pipe growing on one map tile. I present to you: bear and dog pipes growing next to each other!

I tried doing the quest sheep/cow in the forest cover. The sage was very insinstent that i HAVE to be the right person for the job and that i should have good relations with the spirits. Or else i would suffer "great misfortune". As a proud Iron age Finnish atheist, i paid little attention to his rumblings. Well, let me tell you, that was a huge mistake.

Right as i get into the quest area, i spot robbers. They were roaming INSIDE the quest area. I am sure, at that time, that this is a coincidense. I avoid them and start searching for tracks away from them. The first day is approaching to an end and i make camp next to the river. I fall asleep and wake up in the early hours. It's almost pitch black, it is snowing and i hear a rustle. Then i hear a terrible snort and after a few turns i am attacked by a bear. In 10 years playing this game on and off, i don't think i have been attacked during the night more than once. Thankfully it's a small female bear and i barely survive the encouter, or i should say, get saved by my beast of a dog. The result is attached in two images.

After that "unfortunate" encouter i continue searching the quest area for another two weeks. During those two weeks in this area i came across at least another bear (found tracks of two, i saw one), at least two lynxes (tracks of three, saw two), wild sows, at least two elks and a herd of reindeer. I don't have a clue what came over the game to spawn such a population, but thinking back on the robbers, bears and lynxes encounters, i am convinced that i was not worthy at all and the forest spirits literally tried to kill me!

In conclusion, the forest spirits are real, don't ever anger them and listen to your village sages, they know what's up. Oh, also i searched every tile of the quest area and never found any cow tracks.

Just finished my cabin, and while proudly admiring it I noticed for the first time the address:

Appopera, or "Gapingrear".

 :(

UnReal World is just trolling me now.  My latest cabin is at Lyomametta, or "Beating wood."
