Re: No Finnish version?
It would be cool if you added finnish voice-overs for the english-text when talking to NPC's. Would really add to the immersion.
#suggestions

Yes, some more finnish in a way or another would add some flavour. We've had spoken finnish before eg. in rituals and attack swear words.
Finnish voice acting additions would be fun to do, but to suit the different circumstances we'd need a little group voice actors and actresses.

Re: [3.61, Windows 10] Items are no longer showing as unpaid when I pick them up
Awesome Sami, you're a gentleman and a scholar.

Guess I'll try to zoom in less frequently.

Cheers.

You're welcome.
But just keep zooming, there's nothing bad with that, and it's the ultimate and challenging way to explore the game.
Moreover, things are adjusted in the next patch to overcome this kind of maintenance hiccups.

Re: Full screen map with toggleable information on it - remove classic info boxes Yes we should update to modern resolutions, and it's mandatory at some point, but that's full rewrite of the graphics engine then.
To come up with good time lasting design it's six months of planning and at least another six for creating, and additional three for testing and putting things together.

When do we take that sort of graphics break, I don't know.

Use of full available resolution for the game is of course preferred, but it's debatable if that means using all the screen for map by default.

Re: No Finnish version?
Do you think Schubert got the same questions about his UnFinnished Sonata? (hehehe)

We could also change the game title to UnFinnished World ;)

Re: [3.61, Windows] Village dogs attacking This has been addressed now.

 - added: aggressive village dogs calm down together with their masters

In case of minor breaches villagers might punish you for a while and calm down after you had learned your lesson - but their dogs didn't react accordingly. Now village dogs will calm down if their masters do so.
This doesn't prevent village dogs from being a serious threat as they don't always reason the power of their attacks the same way the humans do and may cause lethal wounds by accident.

PS. Dogs (like all the animals) already have individual variety to their reactions based on their underlying attributes and situation. Some are more brave, some are more prone to flee etc. etc. so there are potential features to be discovered.

Tracks covered and decayed by snowfall and rain I've had a simple roadmap for the next patch update with a simple goal of "fix a dozen things, add half a dozen new things". The fixes are soon done, and new features are being worked on. One thing to mention is an addition of snowfall and rain now covering and decaying tracks. Track decay rate naturally depends on amount of snowfall or rain, and also the age of the tracks. Severe snowfall may cover fresh tracks in a hour so the weather now gets to play a greater role in tracking.

Few more fixes, few more additions to go. And then getting to build a new update. And as we can see and imagine from this example one single addition can easily include half a dozen side factors and bring up dozens of new situations to our adventuring characters.

Re: [3.61 Windows 8.1] Dying animal disappeared while waiting and breaking ice Very helpful save. I managed to reproduce and it's fixed now.

This was related to data entry re-ordering which failed with combination of carcass and ice hole entry placement in a row. I believe this can be quite easy to reproduce so until the next patch is out you want to wait for the creatures to die before making those holes in the ice.

Fixed - persists in 3.61.

Re: Tracks covered and decayed by snowfall and rain
Because tracking might become nigh to impossible if it rains/snows several times a day in some areas killing the tracks? But I am speaking too soon, let's see first how it works out.

Surely it might, occasionally, but many things in the (unreal) world are occasionally impossible, or require some planning. It's simply the nature of the nature, and the very essence of this very game. But well, I'm quite sure it won't be so dramatic change as it may sound now. We'll see then.
