If you make a batch of arrows using multiple types of feathers from different birds, none of them are consumed.

Tried to reproduce but didn't get the issue triggered. Maybe it's related to arrow batch size and different feather availability.
I tried crafting 2 arrows, having 2 mallard feathers and 6 swan feathers in character's inventory. It worked as intended and consumed all the feathers.

Can you try to reproduce again and let me know exactly what kind of batch with what feathers was made.
It would be even better if you'd first obtain the materials, then save the game and backup the folder.
Then try to reproduce the bug and if the issue is triggered send me that save backup so I can try it on my end.

Seems like it only happens if the feathers are on the ground and are autopicked.

It seems that this at least sometimes affects feathers that are all of the same type if they are on the ground. Further sometimes these feathers are reduced by correct amount after a delay. For instance I make one arrow and the feathers aren't reduced. Then I make an arrow shaft afterwards and after that 3 feathers have been correctly removed from the stack.

This seems somewhat similar to the bug I encountered with modded hot smoker, which doesn’t consume 20 firewood from the ground, only from inventory.

Got the original issue fixed. Feathers on the ground were properly marked to be removed, but call for the actual removal was absent from the arrowmaking function. That's why the feathers might get removed upon next crafting tasks when removal function for marked ground items were properly called.

For JPFinn's hot smoker issue it's something different, as this was solely an absent function call within arrowmaking function.

Fixed - persists in version 3.86.1
