Salt

Salt is a rare and expensive resource in Unreal World. It can only be purchased from villages, usually coastal Driik villages. It is only used to create salted food; this is a form of food preservation. However, since it is so expensive, and salted food does not last as long as smoked or dried food, it is rarely used. One pound of salt is enough to preserve 10 pounds of meat or fish.
