In addition to developing UnReal World, Enormous Elk has made several short films and music videos, many of them inspired by the game's setting.

Shorts

  • Mouth-Harp Avenger - 2011 (remastered 2016). A Western-style standoff between two men in the snowy Finnish winter. Recommended watching for all UnReal World players who like using the grainflail or small flail as an improvised weapon. ;-) The film was originally made for a video competition and even won first place.
  • Showing the appreciation - October 2014. An atmospheric stroll through the night time woodlands...
  • Onwards - A short movie in Kaurismäki style - November 2015. A road movie short in the style of Kaurismäki's films.
  • Sliding Just Fine - February 2017. A slice-of-life short, set during the Finnish winter, in February. Sami narrates, travels cross-country on skiis, and finds some time to reflect on UnReal World's 25th anniversary.
  • Shaman Duel - 2018. "A short film by Enormous Elk. The story is a variation of a classic theme in Finnish folklore; two sages meet on a narrow path, they both refuse to give way to the other, so they end up having a magic duel to see who has to step aside." Also available for viewing here.

Music videos

  • Hololiloija! - October 2013. As a "Thank you !" gift to the game's fan community, Sami and Errka recorded this song and then performed the music video in autumn 2013. Some of the instruments heard include the kantele, drums, acoustic guitar and more. The song used in the video was also used as background music for the 2014 and 2016 official trailers for UnReal World.
  • Finnish Sauna - 2016. Percussions and some chilling in a bathtub in the middle of the wilderness.
  • In The Real World - July 2016 (full release 2017). The Finnish wilderness and the new introductory instrumental theme song, heard in the latest releases of UnReal World.
