In UnReal World's calendar, Soil is the sixth and last (full) month of winter season. Its first day is the 7th day of 7th week before summer season and its last is 1st day of 2nd week before summer season. Its real world equivalent is March. Its name is likely due to first signs of soil becoming visible from under the winter snows.
The weather is generally below freezing, and skiing is the best mode of transport. Waterways are frozen, with the exception of rapids and deep sea, making rafts and punts mostly unusable.
Being a winter month, drying food is possible.
