Setting an items Letter

In Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead when I have an item I use a lot like a lighter I can set that item to a specific letter. Later on when I drop or pickup more items it would stay what I set it. URW doesn't currently have that option but it would be nice. For instance I would probably set my fishing rod to be r so I could rr to repeat fish even if I later on pick up some cord or such.
