Got an idea for a new challenge run inspired by Dwarf Fortress' elves. For those who don't know DF elves believe trees are sacred and therefore don't cut them down.
For this challenge the player would not be able to cut down any trees, or even take their precious twigs/branches. Gathering deadfall is the only source of wood that is legal. Can you survive the winter?
Bonus points if the player culture is Owl tribe as their size and way of life seems fitting.
Hard-core mode would be the above requirements as well no hunting, fishing, or eating meat (milk allowed) because animals are friends, not food
