Loss of hide while softening the skin

As the title, winter elk fur was lost after beginning to soften the hide and canceling the process before reaching the pausable threshold.

Potentially relevant info:
This task was attempted on a tile with many items on it (8 container s and 1800 flax seeds), but no other partially completed tasks. I also had another rinsed hide in my inventory which had I had not yet begun softening.

This was a plain, easily reproducible bug - not related to map/data conditions. Fixed now.

Fixed - persists in 3.86
