Where did you see this in the news.txt, I can't find it, I tried searching for "craft" and "select"

Minor bug: When making a lippo, it didn't autoselect the handaxe I had on the ground, so I had to pick it up in order to craft it.

i've also seen them, including in the most recent version. i build my home next to a sea tile that stays wet all year round and then sometimes while i'm home, i see seals.

I've also experienced a few freezes on entering locations -- it was completely dead, kill wasn't enough to get it to exit, had to use kill -9.

and i was also on a raft in the sea wanting to come to shore, but I was lucky and didn't lose any animals -- for me it correctly rolled back to the last time I'd woken up. 3.81, arch linux version.

I've seen it happen too and I think it's a bug, but I don't look at the F6 map often enough to notice exactly when it happens.

This happened to me too. I thought it was because I just didn't have enough valuables on me when I made the order.

you can wield them and throw them (the way you can throw anything, including branches) but you cannot stab with them, you get a message about it if you try

 I have recently got 2 skill points increase for making a bunch of arrow shafts at once with low skill, so I think you no longer need to do it one at a time.

If this happens again, if you push the raft onto the water and then rest until not fatigued and then swim one tile away from the raft and one tile towards the raf, you can get up onto the raft.

You can also email the save to Sami, he's helped out other players that got stuck in this situation

It's finally warm enough to start preparing the field. Kari tries to light and fire and gets a message that it succeeded, but there is no fire. Kari has successfully lit fires elsewhere before: in his fireplace, and on the ground near his house when he needed to light a torch in the middle of the night. None of my other characters are having trouble lighting fires, even ones with fields as large as this one. I tried closing and reopening the game, and leaving and re-entering the tile. I tried a few other bits of branches nearby, but haven't retried other worldmap tiles. Save available.

If you wield one and try to strike with it, you get an error message about how to use arrowheads. i haven't tried throwing one yet, but i'd expect it could be thrown and to do a tiny bit of damage if you did, the way you can throw anything else
