So guys, if you want a bit of Unreal World in your life, there is an arctic marathon of 300kms or so:

A guy from my city is trailing in second place sadly, he won the marathon 2-3 times if I recall right. He is 47 now :/ I am 39 and can't see myself running with a sledge attached to me at -30 Celsius for 5 kms, let alone 300 :))

Let's all pray to the Unreal World spirits that a bear eats the leader of the race so my guy wins again!

I am the coolest developer ever.
If its a lack of man power, maybe a new team member would be beneficial in providing better organization of the wiki & other areas that could use work
First, I am in no way offering myself to help, I don't have the time nor the skills. Second, maybe there are things that you could outsource Sami, I mean make some parts of the code open source, and then decide if anything which is developed by helping hands should go in the main game or not. Just a very small thought. 8)

To me the polls result seems like the majority wants something else first. And putting together those who don't want it or don't have an opinion are still more numerous than the "very important" party.

But well, honestly, I don't know when. And that goes for many features.
Given the fact that the poll was made in 2017 and we are in 2020, now we can safely say that option 2, "Would be nice but I'd like to see some other big features given time first.", was already fulfilled, unless people think long term and "would be nice" means 2050. 48.6+21.4 = 70

But, who am I to argue, your wish is my command  :P

When will we have this please? After some simple math, the vast majority of the people in the world, not only playing Unreal World, wants this update and considers it very important. Even the forum poll is pretty clear: Very important, high priority. (3721.6%)

Thanks. Your laws are simpler than here. But here everybody breaks the laws regarding forests and cutting trees, so our so complex laws are worthless. I consider auto inviting myself to a cabin building crash course in Finland :D Your cabin videos assemble lego games lol.

That "woodman's pal" looks a lot like the tool we call vesuri.

If I understand correctly, havukirves or hakokirves or kassara has non-sharpened curved part on the blunt side of the blade. In that case the curved part is used to lift up and to move small branhces. But in vesuri the purpose of the curved part is to protect the blade when you are cutting young trees and you often accidentally hit soil or rocks.

All in all, in most cases similar tasks can be done either by a small hatchet or a bigger knife. But these spesialiced tools are especially good for purposes they are specially designed for  :D
Do you purchase the wood in the video? Or do you chop it yourself? Do you need a license for cutting wood? Was thinking about a small cabin, I don't have the skills to build it, tho your videos make it look easy :D

Update

An issue was reported on making a fishing net. Looked into it and birch-bark was made using other conventions. Reviewed the overall recipe. Found other possible concerns. Fixed same.

Bug reports / 3.61 - Graphic issue with northern wall and ceiling/floor

Hey guys,

I am playing UW again, and again and again (my Steam version shows only 11 years of playtime, which is probably 1-5% of reality), and I stumped on this graphical bug:

Also, it acts like a shutter or something like that, because it seems I can see through it like through a shutter. I deconstructed and rebuilt it, but the issue persists.

Any way I can fix it? That hole shows up on default game with verified files, no mod installed.

EDIT: I deconstructed north, north east, east, south east, south walls and built them again and the problem disappeared. A bit time consuming, but things happen.
