Was busy with stuff and now got sick, so had time to check the forums  :-\
I managed to semi fix it, disabled desktop composition from compatibility for urw.exe - now it happens very rarely and randomly, meaning i wont get stuck and that´s fine for me.
I did try to DEP thing before it was pointed out here, but i googled it and did by the directions i found there. For some reason it didnt let me turn it off for urw, saying it can´t be run without it - so i gave up on that path.

Hi, not sure if its posted here, but pine tar value should be reduced. Its way too easy to gather for it to be this valuable.

Previous version that i played was 3.51 i think, had no problems. Some time  passed and wanted to play again, as latest version was on steam/itch only - bought it. I added BAC mod and changed few pictures.
The problem happens when i try to leave village/town. It happens when i try to leave by going to world map and when i just try to walk far away in region map (1 worldmap square around village is ok, but more will crash). It seems to happen at tribe villages, the region map feels slower/laggy. Tried the other culture villages few times, was fine and game speed was fine. In tribe village it happens about 8 times out of 10. Sometimes it happens when i load a save, about 1 out of 10. In random non village location it has happened 2 times in 5h gameplay.
Thought it might be the mod or my save. Made clean install and new character, same problem.

Suggestions / Return the action pictures

The game used to have pictures for the actions that your character did and also a framebox for your character build. A 4 year old post on steam says that "they were (temporarily) removed because of developmental and technical and practical reasons. They might return in some future version, but can't promise yet.". I waited and waited... and waited, but after 4 years they are still gone.
The pictures made the game more immersive and would really like to see them return.

I did write "light items and only 1 of each", meaning stacks, thou i should have just used the word "stacks"  ;D. I know about the cellar but its more like a building, not container, at least the idea of it. Main reason why i would like to see some carryable bags is, that i often have low weight, 60lbs and can´t pick stuff up because stack limit reached. I wrote about it in the old forums once too, many years ago, but without the possible solutions - bags and similar containers. Main reason i like the game, and i believe many others to too, is the realism of the game. Bags would fix the stacks issue and keep things real.

The game has fixed number of different items you can carry, even if thous items all weight 0.1lbs. That means you could max out your items with bunch of small, light items and only 1 of each (feathers, herbes, dif. quality arrows, etc), making your total carry weight is like 30lbs or less. Thous items in real life you could put in your coat pocket.
Would recommend bags or similar containers for them, makeable from leather and fur with tying equipment and using a blade like knife (best would be fisherman´s knife for its thin long blade) and/or buyable from people and settlements.
The bags should work like other conatiners (skins, pots, mugs), that when you put something in it the weight increases, also the max weight it can hold should be low.
The player could use them with "a" button for apply and then new window would open (like for pots, skins, mugs) giving the option to put stuff into it (opens your inventory screen to choose items) or take stuff out (opens the bag to take stuff out).
Also a buildable containers would be nice, like some boxes (made from boards and tying equipment, using a blade for carving) to put stuff into so your house won´t look like a crows nest, usable like packing on animals with "p" to pack and "G" to get.

Like Privateer already mentioned, it might just be imitation of real life. In real life cows are sometimes milked even when the milk is not used, because its recommended to milk them regularly, otherwise it might affect their health. I personally think its not a bug and this is how its meant to be, but i might be wrong.

When my food spoils i first get message "You carry too much! Excess items are now put on the ground." and right after that "Something in your pack smells foul.". The items dropped are all my eatable (cooked, dried, smoke etc) food. It has happened more then once and last time it happened i checked that i had 83 different type of items so it might be because i have loads of stuff with me (have not happened when i have few items, less then 20). The other times it happened i also had load of stuff, like 50+ different items. I could pick the dropped items up again with no problems. Also its not random chance or anything, last time i reloaded 3 times and every time happened same thing.
I´m not active in forums so if this bug gets fixed or moved to some collection of bugs then forum admin can delete this topic, so the bug report board is tidy.
