In the past I always use sliver ring for the sacrifice ritual for forest spirits, the ritual success every time but the ring never get consumed. Last time I change what I use to sacrifice into a sliver chain bracelet and this time it got consumed for 1/3. I guess the sliver ring never get consumed is abnormal then?

General Discussion / Travelling adventurer: A new discovery?

Did you ever encounter adventurers travel to other regions other than his own tribe territory? (Apart from vagabond/ forester adventurer)
I had encountered twice and both of them are kaumolaiset, and I even had met one of them in Kaumo region before I met him again in Driik region.
I wonder if others have similar experiences? Is it only kaumolaiset travel far from their homeland or other adventurers from different tribes do the same?

Shot a sow with a broadhead arrow and was following the trail of bloodscape. Waist deep snow, clear weather at noon in pine mire makes the trail can't be more obvious. My hounds went to chase the sow and I slowly trace the trail, until the loading map screen appear and suddenly all bloodscapes in front of me disappeared. And the barkings also stopped. I head towards the direction the sow ran and founded my hounds stop chasing the sow. They are no longer aggressive, but I think they should be? The wounded sow isn't really that far from that dogs, around one and a half screen further only. Don't know if the dogs stop chasing the sow is a bug or not, but I guess the blood suddenly disappeared is abnormal.


Update: Can confirm dogs also stop being aggressive when another tile of zoom-in map is loading, they just did that again right in front of me and return to me after I told them to chase another sow. I back up the save, let me know if it is needed :)

Another update: Bloodscape disappeared again even map tiles aren't loading, and I seriously don't know why this time. Photos attached.

Yet another update: Dogs stopped being aggressive and stop chasing sow even when they are just tile from the sow after zoom-in map loading/ buffering, right in front of me, photo attached.

Suggestions / Disengage command & Shouting function for human companion

I know currently companion already have several functions, but what I would like to suggest is adding some commands that distinguish them as intellectual human beings from simple-minded hunting hounds.

One of the commands I want to suggest is to ask companion to disengage from enemies. Dogs, although no disengage command available, leash can make them at least stick around you and even stop them from being aggressive by unleash & leash them spontaneously. However human companions cannot be leashed (of course) and more importantly, cannot communicate during the fight, which doesn’t really make senses to me. I already have two companions died from stupidly charge to large pack of beasts without my command/ help and that’s frustrating. Their deaths are really unnecessary if we could just retreat from those animals since most of them are not willing to fight us to death and will flee if injured.

One more thing about the command to companion is the shouting function. We can command dogs out of our sight but can’t command human companions out of sight? This really make no senses to me and I really hope this function get added into game soon.

Bug reports / [3.63 - Steam] Domestic animals fight each others to death

It is actually the second time it happened before I wrote this bug report, details of the 1st event reported in this post: https://www.unrealworld.fi/forums/index.php?topic=5770.0

This time they fought each other when I was sleeping, when I finally wake up and rush to the scene it was too late for me to stop the bull slaughter the poor sow. No clues on how this is happening but I guess the sow gets panic again without reason, starts to flee and messing with other animals in the pen. Obviously this time she chose the wrong target.

*Sigh* I should have to separate them into different pens already.

Gameplay questions / Need help on the "Kaumo furs" quest

I hunted down 3 elks and a bear, skinned and processed in the Kaumo territory and the mission still haven't count as finished.
The quest said "..your task is to hunt for a valued fur bearing animal and use your hideworking skill to skin it.."
if elk furs aren't valuable enough, isn't bear fur one of the most valuable fur in the game?
What exactly I have to do to finish this quest?

Gameplay questions / Why are my pets fighting each others?

I was preparing my luggage inside my house, packing foods into my bull and heard sound of fighting right behind me.
My sow was chasing my dog and my dog was clearly got beaten. No clues on how this happened.
It never happened before, anyone tell me how is this happening?

Eikka the Vagabond hunter, a hermit I encountered earlier in the wilderness, a trustworthy bear-hunting companion of mine.
Died. Not far outside the village we decided to make a temporarily stop.
I ran, blood was still scattered on ground. Then became a trail too long that lead to his still warm corpse.
Throat got torn wide open, eyes staring forward, hands won't let go his handaxe. 
I wish I could run faster.

Bug reports / [3.63 - Steam] Villagers not responding to predator

Look at how lovely the wolf enjoying sows in the pen.
Perhaps that's how dogs get tamed from wolves?
And the villagers are just being so chill, I wander if I am the only one get surprised by a lone wolf calmly stay in pen and without being aggressive.

Still early winter, ice formed in mires but not solid enough to walk on above.
When exploring the pine/ open mires, I found one of my hired npc disappeared. Tracing back I found him wandering nearby randomly, with no  intention to return to me. I have to [!]Command him, told him to stop task (which is weird, I never told him to do any task), then he finally return to me. This happened multiple times, and I observed this will happen after every time they fall through thin ice and get back to ground.

Basically the title, I know leashed animals won't drown in water, but I am not sure if companions can cross water with me. Anyone know the answer?

Bug reports / [3.63 - Steam] Force transaction?

Enter a village I previously visited, chat with a villager, decide to window shopping for a while.
At the same time as I move forward, another villager shouts and ask me to pay before I leave. The chatting interface appear and they request me to pay for 12 blunt arrows that I never touched (at least at that moment I haven't have a chance to touch, can't remember if I ever interacted with these arrows in previous visits). Paid, and found those blunt arrows laying on the floor inside one of the houses.   
Well at least this time I am able to pay and I get the wares, but if they kept forcing me to buy this and that I will be bankrupt in no time  :o

I have a back up save after paying the arrows, let me know if it is needed :)

[Edit: And I just realize one of the options in the dialog (I am not able to pay, Take what is yours) means returning the goods to the villager, I though that means take whatever valuables they desire from me as they like lol silly me)

I had recruited an adventurer long time ago, disbanded him near my settlement which is quite faraway (around 5km?) from his original village. Haven't seen him since then, he is not returned to the village and I have not notice any tracks might be related to him, neither on zoom in or zoom out map. It hasn't been a problem until I want to recruit another villager. None of them agree to go with me "until they saw the left adventurer again". I am clueless on his whereabouts but felt a little bit responsible for his missing, so I want to ask if anyone have any suggestion on how can I find this missing adventurer? or his body? It could be in-game method or other method (cheat?), I dont mind and thanks in advance.

Gameplay questions / Forest spirit is acting weird

I regularly sacrifice my prey to spirits, always feel at ease and felt unity with water. Haven't have any feelings/ omen related to breeze/ forest for quite a long time through.
Lately I summoned the forest spirit. I expect he looks pleased but instead, he looks upset.
However, when he spoke, he actually leave some kind words and blessing to me. 
Can any sages here interpret how the forest spirit feels towards me?

Edit: BTW, the sliver ring did not disappear after the sacrifice, is this normal?
