General Discussion / How far do you travel at start?

I am curious to hear the answers. Because, when I try to travel a long distance at the start I always seem to lack food and can not really get the characters on their feet again. How far do you travel first starting out?

Sorry for a very quick report, but it seems that if you press "-" button to take away points in skills page enough times when you create your character in too easy mode, the game prompts all options used and the only way out is pressing yes. Even though I had points remaining the game doesnt let you use them. Windows 10.

It may also caused by remaining points reaching 8, I am looking into that as well. Edit: Remaining points do not matter I've got the same bug with 6 remaining points.

It seems to have no consistency regarding how many times you need to press, sometimes it is 6, sometimes 2, sometimes 3.

I also should mention, I can't choose other skills, game locks to the agriculture skill, if I say no and try to add points, change skills(even with hovering the mouse over the skills), it prompts again with all options used.

General Discussion / Which game update you are looking forward to?

The game is challenging and fun as it is right now no doubt about that. But I'd like hear your opinions on updates you are waiting for, it can be from the development list or anywhere.
I am actually hoping for a widescreen support, it should be a nice upgrade from the stretched and resized versions avaible right now.
From the development list, it is a race between animal husbandry and infections, I think infections should make the game a lot more interesting, maybe something like the need for boiling the water and similar stuff like that.

Weapons have a quality modifier as follows:

    crude: -1 impact, -10% skill
    rough: -1 impact
    decent (no change - standard 'nonamed type')
    fine: +1 impact
    masterwork: +1 impact, +10% skill

Does this mean you get +2 impact on masterworks or both are +1 compared to decent one.

Suggestions / Different types of wood

Don't really know if it's already suggested but different woods like spruce wood or birch wood should be in the game I think. I realized it when I was building a bow. I thought well, I can't really make a strong bow out of pine. Obviously it doesn't need to be that detailed but I would like to see a difference between different trees in the game like a kuksa out of birch wood or something like that.
