Modding / Making new wearable items to the game

Hey all!
At the moment I'm in the process of creating textures for a few items based on different Sámi items like gákti, čázehat, beaska etc.
Can anybody give me an handsdown guide of how to add new clothing to urw? Like setting values and overall making the game realise there's a new item etc.
