Solved'n'fixed bug reports / Loss of hide while softening the skin

As the title, winter elk fur was lost after beginning to soften the hide and canceling the process before reaching the pausable threshold.

Potentially relevant info:
This task was attempted on a tile with many items on it (8 container s and 1800 flax seeds), but no other partially completed tasks. I also had another rinsed hide in my inventory which had I had not yet begun softening.

Suggestions / Settlements should store food in cellars

Pretty simple suggestion to increase the immersion in settlements by moving village food stocks to one or more cellars spawned in the settlement.

I know the village food stocks aren't subject to spoilage but it still seems strange to find piles of meat stored in random buildings.  As players we are required to use cellars for longterm storage which feels much more fitting. This divide is an unnecessary reminder that settlements don't play by the same rules.

If this suggestion was implemented it would benefit the game by increasing player immersion in settlements because they would seem to follow the player mechanics more closely, increasing visual interest of settlements with cellars tiles adding more diversity to the settlement layout, and it would benefit player experience when trading for food by narrowing the amount of locations food can be stored therefore requiring less searching to buy what were looking for.

I would also be excited to see how cellars are implemented in the settlements, as I have no concept of a traditional cellar placement outside of the home, and sorta put mine wherever feels convenient  ;D

General Discussion / Elf Challenge

Got an idea for a new challenge run inspired by Dwarf Fortress' elves. For those who don't know DF elves believe trees are sacred and therefore don't cut them down.

For this challenge the player would not be able to cut down any trees, or even take their precious twigs/branches. Gathering deadfall is the only source of wood that is legal. Can you survive the winter?

Bonus points if the player culture is Owl tribe as their size and way of life seems fitting.

Hard-core mode would be the above requirements as well no hunting, fishing, or eating meat (milk allowed) because animals are friends, not food  ;)

Gameplay questions / Are Njerpez camp spawns infinite?

I've been playing a character based on the idea of fighting the Njerps (so original  ;) ), and I've been trying to wipe their camps as they spawn up. However after knocking out 5 in my second year 4 new ones spawned on me... I'd prefer to keep the defensive war going but it seems they're unaffected by my raids.

So does anyone know if there is like a global population for camp spawns I could eventually deplete? Or a limit to the number spawned per year?

If not, it seems that calling for a crusade on their villages is the only solution
