Title: Creation of Mass From Nothing
Post by: rudy on December 01, 2022, 05:04:24 PM
Threshing rye plants creates more rye grains by mass than the original plant. About 60% more.

Creating matter from nothing is a pretty cool trick, but maybe that's not intended?

Yeah. There's always been mismatch with plant yield versus plant weight.
It's due to fixed default plant weights which is indeed confusing.
Well, it's also definitely something to adjust - when the priorities are suited for that.

In the same area, yarn is much heavier than the fibres that go into making it! :)

I believe there are zero plants where the yield weigh would match the complete plant perfectly - or sometimes not even reasonably. :)
At least they haven't been never thoroughly checked.

Gravity causes that.  It's the spinning, you see?

I'll get my coat.
