While not something we would likely see in Finland's Iron Age they are still interesting bits of survival lore.

Here is a Canada National Film Board from decades ago on 2 Eskimo making an igloo for a night.

Wow, they built that in 1.5 hours?!?  I could spend all day and have a lopsided disaster that would inevitably collapse on me in the middle of the night.

That's why survival skills are good to practice.

I expect my own igloo skills to be closer to yours than theirs.
