Re: F1 help ought to cover smoking i'm not sure the F1 should give the exact numbers, it should be more like "Light the fireplace once a day with enough wood that the fire stays actively burning for over an hour."

Re: F1 help ought to cover smoking Maybe as a compromise it could say "You can look at the fireplace with F3 to see how long the fire will burn"

Re: Is there a quest to clear Njerpez invasion? I don't think so; I've never gotten a quest like that. But the njerpez in the camp will have lots of weapons and armor, which is itself a reward.

Re: Thoughts on All Crops if you thresh 1 barley plant, you get 2 grains, but if you thresh 1 rye plant, you get 3 grains, so the yield is quite a bit better, balancing out the longer growing time

Re: Make nettle seeds a thing Nettles do produce seeds if you harvest them once they're fully ripe instead of picking them early

Re: *DAMNED* Meeting with water spirits quest  the tile if you look at it with F3 should say base rock, not crag.

It doesn't work every time but if you try a few different ones, you should be able to get it in a few nights.

You can also ignore it if you find it annoying, this is the kind of game where you can do whatever you want and skip the parts you don't like.

Re: Winter Fur Yes, clothes made from winter fur is warmer. You'll notice it more with bigger animals like bear or elk. I don't remember if the effect is visible for squirrel fur, but it might be. You can examine clothes in your inventory individually to see how warm they are.

Re: Avoiding early game starvation (for new players). And always bait your traps as soon as you can. Birds like berries and most berries won't give you enough nutrition to live. Carnivores like raw meat, and most will eat spoiled raw meat. Some carnivores will eat cooked (dried, smoked, roasted) meat but only if it's not spoiled. Hare and deer like roots: milkweed roots, turnips, etc.

In summer, harvest lake reeds to eat. They're very nutritious.

If you don't have any bait at all for rod fishing, it's not worth, but you can use a club, spear, or javelin to get a pike. Then you can use pieces of the pike for rod fishing.
