Not bugs / [not a bug] Quest with close villages

I have a map where two Driik villages are separated by one wilderness map "road" tile.  An old man in the south village gave me a quest to bring 25 stones to the corner of the sauna...but there is no sauna in that village!  So I thought maybe it was a bug and he was talking about the sauna in the north village.  I dropped the stones at the north village's sauna and went back to talk to the old man in the south village.  I made a backup of the game at this point, with the quest unfinished, but I can't attach it here because it's too large.  Then I talked to the old man again and the quest was complete.

Let me know if/how you want me to send you the game save folder.
