Well easy maybe but fast certainly not. There are skills that must be learned first. Building a simple website maybe easy now but to the newbie it would seem impossible. Do you remember when you started and your frustration in your learning curve? To the newbie the language alone can be over whelming. Do newbies know what a keyword is or how important they are and how to find them? What the heck are Meta tags, PPC, S.E.O., and traffic? Do you need Google page ranking to stay in this business?

How many forums did you get kicked out of or articles of yours get rejected as duplicate as you learned.These skills are learnable but it takes time. So, why does this business tell people that it's fast? Telling people it's a fast way to make money just creates bad marketers through no fault of their own. When you have the landscape cluttered up with poor marketers it makes it that much harder for everybody.I am not suggesting that the newbies go to college for two, four or even 8 years and learn computer science. The skills can be learned much quicker than that.

| − | I know there are some very good forums out there that would benefit the newbie but the forums lack the ability to teach step-by-step or they flat talk over the typical newbies head.There are also the many GURUs in this business that are willing to teach the newbies the shortcuts "that never work" to quick wealth for a small fortune but benefits only the GURU. This is self serving and irresponsible. This is not just for the gurus but for that greedy newbie not willing to take the time to learn the skills need for this business.
