You can not mod new rituals in the game, nor change their effect. However, their text are found in text files in your urw directory, which can be changed :

NBAN.RIT - Banish the Evil Water Spirit
PIKE.RIT - isn't in the game anymore

FREQ.RIT - Fisherman's Sacrifice for a Catch
HUNT.RIT - Hunter's Request to Catch a Fox
NSAFE.RIT - Safety of the Night
SLEEPP.RIT - Permission to Sleep
FORIGIN.RIT - The Origin of Fire
FTRAP.RIT - Favourableness of the Trap
LOST.RIT - not in the game anymore
OIRON.RIT - Oath of Iron
TIMBERP.RIT - Permission to Fell a Tree
