Fallow

Fallow is the third summer month in UnReal World's year beginning on the 6th day of 7th week before midsummer point and ending on 7th day of 3rd week before midsummer point. Its real world equivalent is June. The name fallow comes from the fields left unplanted in a crop rotation agriculture system and such fields have also given name to the color fallow. Even though its not the first sprouting month for any crop, it is for the seed-bearing herbs nettle, sorrel and yarrow.

The weather is quite warm this month, but snowing is not unheard of and the waters may still be covered with thin ice during the first half of this month.
