Blood-Stanching Prayer is a ritual from older versions of The UnReal World. It boosts your physician skill (by 50 points) in order to make injury treatments more successful. A similarly named but different ritual, Blood-Stanching Incantation (still present in the game as of v3.72 patch #1), will immediately stop all blood loss. Can not be used in combat.
It can last up to 4 treatments of injuries, and boosts physician skill to a maximum of 95 (as of v3.18stable).
