Ask about character's fatigue

Why does my character's fatigue keep increasing in the game? Even general walking will increase!

Is there snow on the ground?

PALU:
Walking in snow builds up fatigue (as Privateer indicates), in particular very deep snow without crust. On bare ground I think you only build up fatigue while running or hauling heavy items.

Plotinus:
also make sure you're standing up with the u key. if you had a disturbed sleep and didnt wake up all the way you might be crawling
