Hey, so I've just come back to the AC franchise after about 10 years absence.

I've played Unity, Origins and Odyssey and had a blast, and I now am thinking about playing the iconic collection.

The thing is I'm afraid I will be pretty underwhelmed by the graphics and mechanics, after playing the newer games.

I've played 2 and just a little bit when they came out but I was 13 years old and don't remember much about it.

I also am a sucker for a good storyline, and I prefer more linear approaches than huge open world games with pacing problems like Odyssey (Although I really enjoyed the world).

TL;DR- Is it worth playing the collection after finishing the newer games or will it feel too old?

You're posting in the completely wrong place. Firstly, it's about some game completely unrelated to UrW, and secondly, this section is about suggestions for implementation into UrW, not for suggestions about your own gaming.

Personally?  Maybe you should try Unreal World!  You can get it here:
