You sleep with your cow inside? That was common, specially with sheep but I never do it.

Gameplay questions / Re: How to hunt seals?

Just adding to what has been said. Bear traps on top of tracks is what worked best for me. At first I tried bow / javelins, but it was extremely difficult and time consuming. It would be amazing if the Ango had some special ability to stop seals on their tracks as it's supposedly designed to hunt such animals.

I don't think kaumo furs are any different than other regular skins. Except for that one task in the tutorial.
By the way, that is the task I have been stuck in for a while because its winter and I usually travel in summer.

Hello. I found this interesting commentary about wounds, stabbing, etc. that might be useful for the wound system of the game.

Also, is anyone interested in a permanent wounds system? For example, the chance to loose an eye or the ability to use an arm or leg for the rest of the game?

A lot of interesting points. Some of them will be met in the coming update and with help of modding, like carving horns or left-overs from butchering. The bloodstain is an interesting idea, I like it.

Has anyone really managed to take a character to 12+ years? I have been playing the same character for almost two years or more IRL and he is only in his 4th winter...

Yes again, but what I'm talking about is landscape resolution to fit modern monitors. Maybe it was not clear in my original post.

You are talking about logical resize? I'm talking about full resolution., not stretched. If I want to go full screen now, the text is so stretched that it's not comfortable to read, and the whole game looks bad.

General Discussion / What's Going On In Your Unreal World?
« on: May 29, 2017, 04:13:36 AM »
I'm bringing a classic back because I almost burn myself to death today. I was burning a field for herbs and walked near the fires while carrying the stakes to make the fence, the stakes caught fire under me... I was too fatigued to move and I panicked IRL for a few seconds until I tried to zoom out. That worked and saved my character.

Now my arm is useless and I can't prepare the soil I was burning or complete the fence...  :-\

Just fired up the game and noticed I'm a bit tired of the square resolution. Maybe it's time to move higher resolutions higher on on the list of things to do.
