[Fixed - 3.72] The (unpaid) label not correctly added to picked arrows as goods The (unpaid) or (taken) label is not correctly added to arrows, when they are picked up as goods in a village. They will be automatically stacked to the arrows you have already owned in inventory, so you can leave the village free without paying for them. It's happening in Version 3.72.

Paid empty containers of stolen goods being continuously required to be paid The stolen goods will have (taken) label for some time when you steal them and take them outside the village without being caught. So will the empty containers when content poured out or consumed. And I found this when I stole a bag of beans from a village:
When I had eaten all stolen beans, the empty bag was left and marked with (taken). So, I went back to the same village without carrying the bag, in consideration that the bag was still plunder. But the villagers still knew it and required me to pay for the empty bag when I traded with them, even if I didn't carry it. Other stolen items, however, were not required to be paid. Then I paid for the bag, but it was asked to be paid again every time I entered that village.
Sometimes, people are desperate enough to steal food and cloth from village in order to survive coldness and starvation. I guess this is a small punishment for stealing, but still hope it could be fixed.

a small balance-breaking problem of trading with wandering npcs Trading with the wandering woodsman/hunter/adventurers in wilderness is a common interaction with them. But after you buy tools or expensive furs with like more than a hundred cuts of meat in one time, they will drop the cuts on ground since they can't carry that much. Then you can just pick up them and they are ok about it. villagers also drop things they can't carry, but they are still considered as village property. So, if you picked up them, you need to buy them. They are not yours anymore. However, it seems wandering npcs just give up the item they drop, just like the arrows they shoot. I think it's not a bug, but still a loophole you can exploit to take goods from wandering npcs without actually paying.
Suggested solution: add a label to mark items as npc's individual belongings

Same with having to equip a paddle that you are already carrying before you can punt or raft.
I'm wondering if paddle could be attached to punt or raft. That will save a lot of effort from equipping/unequipping paddle or packing/unpacking it from the pack animal

How to separate a fistful of seeds from a container of them Just as the subject, you can put fistful of seeds into a bag, a box or a basket, but how can you separate any fistful of them from the container? So you can use them as bird bait

Can someone please tell me how to use Physician on companion to stop bleeding? Thank you.
After finishing a brutal battle, my companion is very badly wound, lying on ground and bleeding. I intended to use Physician skill on him to help stopping his bleeding, but I don't how to use it. I tried to open the Physician interface but it showed my own wounds, and I try to use Look and Examine, but no good. Finally, I saw him died in front of me... I once somehow used Physician to stop my bleeding dog and pack animal by pressing some keys which I didn't remember.

[Fixed - persists in 3.72 patch #1] Njerpez warriors shoot tree trunks at me seems when they ran out of arrows, they then shot tree trunks, with bow in one hand and a shield in the other hand. version 3.72-patch#1

Any of them hit you?

they hit me for once or twice, but it seems that tree trunk has no missile damage, so I was fine hit by an over 200kg late-iron age missile. ;D

Well, were you doing particularly good in battle, just before this happened? If so, perhaps it is a new feature?

A new algorithm quietly slipped into the 3.72-patch#3 as a limited-time easter egg, for detecting players in the 99th percentile by the in-game battle performance & showering them with this unique compliment, some sort of flower bouquet (with the known limitations of the climate & season), same day air delivered by friends from eastern lands in their lovely Christmas attire and spirit.

Maybe it is meant to be taken not as a bug but as a testament to the bravery, skill in combat, and the indomitable spirit of honoured recipient  ;)


To be honest, the battle was surely smooth. 1 of those 3 Njerpez warriors died at the very beginning due to an arrow piercing his eye, which I didn't even expect to hit him. I kited the other 2 after they are fatigued and shot them. even when I missed the one I aimed at, the arrow always hit the other. I don't know if I performed a good battle, but I'm sure that I was really lucky. ;D
This new easter egg is really great. even if it's a bug, it's an interesting one and I'll feel some regret for it being fixed. by the way I also experienced out-of-arrow foreign traders shooting branches and rocks at me. but tree trunks really surprised me at start.

Woah, that's quite something! Very, very intriguing issue.

If you ppl encounter this again I'd be very happy to receive a savegame from the heat of the tree trunk missile combat, or it can be rock and branches too. When you notice the issue, save the game and send the savegame over to me.

I'll try to reproduce on my own, but we'll be quicker to get on track if we receive a savegame where the issue is active.
