Indeed. There’s a bug that causes NPC to refer the culture as their own. I.e. Driiks will claim any village they know location of as a Driik village.
Same goes for vagabonds and foresters.

The same bug manifests itself, in reverse, with for example “unfortunate hunting trip” scenario where character’s deceased father is of the culture where the game begins.

Bug reports / Minor non-displaying items error

Looking at cooking foods (stews in this case) shows all of the items. Trying to pick them up, to see when they are ready, only displays one item.

Other items being prepared: drying, smoking at least, do display the items/stacks properly. Please see attached.

I guess it's possible, that the game doesn't show the items separately if their ready status is close enough, but in that case, it'd be nice to see how long until the cooking  foods are ready.

Wild animals heal too.
I had an elusive glutton in the area that got hit by arrow, ran off into spruce mire. If I didn’t check light lever traps and loop snares every day after the 1st, I’d find bones and pile of feathers by triggered traps. Ran into the glutton later, it had healed, yet carried an arrow. Missed the shot, it ran off again. This happened couple times, hit or miss; then it hid in the spruce mire. Until 2nd winter, spotted it on pine mire 300m away from closest spruce mires, hit it again, twice. Skied up to it and finished him/her off. It had 7 arrows on the carcass.

Does it also warm you up when the fire ran out and embers are glowing?

I earlier missed your question about the heat. Yes, sadly it does warm up outside As well. It’s a little bit immersion breaking to tan a hide at the porch, on the coldest evening of the year and be “sweating a lot”

If/when Enormous Elks implement inside corner for log structures and if it still then warms up the porch areas, I’ll need to open a Bug ticket then. Would be conditional if area should/shouldn’t get heated on an unfinished/finished structures.

At the moment if someone wants to play (metal) armor wearing warrior, they either choose Kaumolais or Sartolais character. They have largest size and as weight directly affects carry weight and encumbrance penalty; there’s no reason to choose any other culture.

Now the suggestion!

Have small characters, say under 65kg (~143lbs) average/usual size above that and below ~90kg (198lbs) and large characters, above 95kg/198lbs
All weights debatable.

Then add ‘small’ and ‘large’ sized armor and clothing items. Keep the current items as average/usual size.
Decrease small clothing and armor weight by (maybe 10-15%) and increase large variants weight by 10-15%
Values debatable.

No more getting correctly fitting armor for the 100kg/220lbs Kaumolainen from that 103lbs/47kg Njerpez.

Also, with metalworking/smithing in dev.plans, enable re-sizing and repairing existing armor.

Now you’ve taken the step to the dark side and taken life of a fellow human. And made a sizable profit with it. Next try to bag some njerpez, and get really wealthy... with a risk of death, but hey: low risk, low reward.

As for the corpse, most folks seem to pick them up, zoom out to Wilderness Map and drop on the spot for time and nature to clean the mess and leave 4 bones as trophies.
Some collect those bones later and add to their grim trophy pile at cabin site. Or leave them on the spot as reminder where a hostile fighter met, you.

Unless you’re couple days into starving, in that case, you *could* butcher the human remains and cook‘im for dinner.

Clay is wet silt; decomposing bits of biological matter combined with very fine silica/sand.
So if your waterway has rivers contributing fine particles to the shoreline, yes; there’ll be clay.
(Ocean shores often have higher surf/whitewash/under tow/swell and tides that tend to wash the fine particles in to the water; kelp, sea grass, algae thanks! But bays, lagoons et cetera can have sizable deposits)

Namely, I'd love to be able to add minor macro/toggle for certain things. Keys 4,5,6,8 are not used. Plenty of letters are unused as well.
Not sure how tedious it'd be to enable functions such as:
    4. get skis and ski stick from this location
    5. toggle apply/Take-off for skis and ski stick
    6. Take-off and drop skis and ski stick
    8. apply ski stick (for those skiing archers)

Or
    4. Take-off and drop everything. (easier sauna/swim time)
    5. get all items and Wear all clothing and armor

Or
    8. toggle(or manually select) and wield between arrow/javelin/rock/other throwable weapon stack in the inventory. Then default to that type for further throwing (possibly use other customizable key for the throw and ready next missile, keeping the throwing as manually selected action)

And so on.

Seen this in 3.52, actually having backup'ed the exe I just tried holding down NUMPAD 3 and the game asked me to select a target as if I hit NUMPAD 1.

Number 3 is to "last attack you made" so it's likely from there. But shouldn't trigger from NumPad (not with NumLock on)

edit: as per wiki (also listed in-game: '?' then scroll down to combat): fighting and running away

A lot of crowdfunding tends to price themself high. E.g. perks/packages in hundreds and even thousands of $/€/£/¥.
It can be a money maker and your comment on being able to ditch other side jobs is honest approach. A full size A-title games sell for about €60. So that should be a “gold standard” to aim for. Higher price support packages should get something concrete; physical merchandise, autographed storyboards/comic of the game etc. or have a ingame representation of their avatar/character (within good taste and retaining immersion of course)

$10 “I believe in you”
$30 early access beta/monthly updates
$60 above and alpha access
$100 above and mention in credits
$250 (if someone feels generous?) above and hand drawn and signed doodle about something in game.

That type stuff seems usual.

Paul, Sami already has building for villages on the dev.plans
My comment was for the character to be able to expedite the Building start by selling them lumber.

(On the NPC section, building as activity is mentioned. Under Buildings and Construction, detoriation and fixing&repairing are mentioned)

New settlements would be nice, especially for long lived characters, and the “marriage—playable offspring” planned development branch.

And yes, it’ll be a nice update when it is released!
