Gameplay questions / Prognosis for the dog

My dog got hit By a njerpez. Its got deep cut in elbow and some shallow cuts. It is unable to walk. Its just a short walk to my house in the wilderness.

Any prognosis how long it will take until he can walk?? i put up a shelter next to him and keep feeding him, btw he eats any amount of food now...doesnt disagree...

EDIT; the dog seems to follow where i go on the map but when zoom, it cannot walk.

EDIT 2: i just have to share this, i threw a rock on a flying birg (!), capercaillie maybe, it dropped unconcious(!!!). I walk to it and blunt-hit it with knife to neck twice. It got up and flew away... wtf man seriously.

LoLotov thats awesome. I remember also supervising a bear butchering an elk and then got my share also...If u missed u were a dead man!

My lucky kill was this: i lost my dog sending him to chase the game and it never returned so no dog whatsoever. Got a bow and axes, no armor. Found a bear and shot it with the broadhear arrow twice before it was next to me.
Then a swinged my axe and dodged it's claws for a long time until hit it to body like twice and it must have been bleeding after those broadhead damage.    Still the bear was hardly conscious and severely injured but instead of fleeing it followed me like lying/crouching not running. Eventualy i hit it to the neck and killed it... no dog and thats why it was scary since it reached me, i was sure am gonna die. Its happened so many times with bears (3/3 times i hv met a bear )

Gameplay questions / injured dog dropped the stuff?

I let my dog carry my punt. I sent the dog to pursuit wounded elk. It returned wounded, didnt carry anything, the elk was never found, even it was bleeding.
Might be that i instead just forgot the punt somewhere...
Problem is i lost the punt , any idea how to get it back?   If the dog dropped it it is lost.

Do the villages get new stuff ever?
If i trade everything they have to pile of boards is that all they going to have from now on?

I have noticed at least the seeds disappear during the spring.

I cant find fishing stuff, any net or rod would be handy. Am now south from Sartola. Visited several sartola villages, didnt find...
Is it more like in Driik culture to do fishing?

Started with the runaway slave scenario... Managed to escape without the scratch.. only weapon was rough knife... No axe. Had to trade all of my clothes plus the crappy knife to get an axe from a village.. i created the character to be skilled with timberwork so i made fine boards and traded fishing rod, seeds, fisher knife, food... Took a week to eat my belly full but now am good.. i just love this game! Too bad the ice is weak now, thats what always kills me, hypothermia.

Hello guys
My luckiest kill was early in the game maybe the 1st day, a moose was stuck in the hole in the ice and i blunt hitted the head all day until it finally died. Most of the meat got rotten. I ripped my clothes to cords to make a lot of dry meat...and ate until became fat.

I remember another time when i melee hitted deadly after sneaking next to sleeping elk. 

Throwing weapons, not so lucky... Several elks ran away with my javelin sticking out from their but meat.
