Episode 2 out and running free in the wild. Getting the basics done up although everything is temporary. I'm planning on a more migratory character this time around.

Stories / Inari of Seal-Tribe - Video Let's Play

Hey guys and assorted UnReal Worlders. I'm back for my yearly foray into the unreal world and this time I bring you Inari of Seal-Tribe; my season 2 youtube playthrough. Better sound quality, better production quality and (hopefully) better gameplay.

This time with a few mods: Honey and Mead mod from the very fine Privateer, Jaredonians Character models for a little bit of good looking character cheer, the UrW Self Sufficiency mod from Caethan.

Hope to see you guys along for the ride and feel free to offer any suggestions on how you would like to see the story developing.

Off-topic / Re: What do you like to cook in real life?
« on: May 10, 2017, 01:23:57 PM »
I rarely cook anymore since I got married. My wife is just far superior in every way so me doing the cooking is almost a disappointment. But every now and then I like to smash out something special like back in the good old days (when she worked and I did the cooking).

Some of my specialties include a chicken pot pie, the 'gravy' filling is all natural juices from the vegies and chicken so is simply delectable. Puff pastry is the way to go. Another favourite is pannacotta for desert. I set some jelly (Jello to you americans) in the glasses overnight with them on a diagonal and then put the pannacotta in the next day to set. Leaves a beautiful looking but very simple dessert. But my best dishes of late have been using the French Black Perigord Truffle. Something as simple as a pasta carbonara with a little bit of fresh truffle grated in adds the most wonderful deep earthy flavour.

No pictures of my dishes but I do have some of the truffle I grow.

I'm not much of a modder. I don't know how to create this as a separate entity to be applied as a mod. Normally I just overwrite the existing ingame file but this gets wiped every time there is an update.

I suppose next time I get back into the game I could make a backup copy somewhere and post that to the forums.

Nothing too special normally. Generally though I will play a theme. I enjoy seal-tribe living a semi-nomadic life hunting seals. Sometimes I edit the plant files so that every single herb and plant produces seeds (this is moderately time consuming but not hard) and then make myself a massive farm where I grow every herb and just experiment with various cooking and medicine components.

I remember a while back I kept trying to see if I could eat those poisonous black mushrooms and survive with my special medical herbs.

So ad free from here on out? I do like the sound of that. Isn't that likely to be some sort of a financial burden though?

In an unrelated note, how much do forums like this cost to run anyway? Is there a ballpark figure?
