For comments and deeper discussion about (old or new) development posts it is better to start a new topic. Also, since this is not strictly related to UnReal World, but an accessory Android controller, I decided to move this to the off-topic section. (I was also considering the general section, but since the actual information content of the below comment is rather low, I thought off-topic to be most fitting)

When I try to use it in the world location menu it just tells me "Unreal world not found running. Closing URWSSSelector."

I came across this interesting website called a few months ago. It generates human portraits, the looks of which are based on your text input.
I had the idea yesterday to try and make some that would in my opinion fit in URW, and put them in. It works! Though it took me a lot of attempts to get portraits I was pleased with.
Replacing the existing portraits isn't necessary; name the image file like the other portrait images in truegfx are just with the following number, like east8. The image may need to be resized to 200x200.
The downside is that there is a small watermark at the image's bottom right corner, however if you wish you could crop it out. It doesn't bother me though.

In case anyone feels like creating a pack of portraits and uploading it here, Artflow fortunately has no issue with it. They state the following on their website:

Playing on 3.63 and v128 BAC.
What determines the quality of a created arrow? Even when I use "fine" arrowheads (tried both bone and stone) and shafts (tried both branch and board), the arrows end up more often than not as either rough or curved, with the odd ones being decent.
Also, this endeavour apparently doesn't level any skills? I spent like a week of in-game time preparing arrows yet none of my skills saw increase.

Any chance of a bear remake? The current one looks really out of place when compared with these beatiful sprites.

I've attached a reversion of the bear sprite from a pre-v3.30 unrealworld bigavatar sheet. An oldie but still a cutie! Consider it a placeholder until I manage to make a proper revamp.
Thank you. I didn't know about this one as I'm a newcomer as of last year to URW. It does look like a goofy teddy bear but at the very least its style is more consistent with your sprites. :)

Humans' beloved feline companions had made their ways to modern day Finland during the game's period, in fact (according to some googling)!
Cats would act as natural vermin fenders of your settlement. Thus if cats were added, it would be a good opportunity to also add small vermins the likes of mice and rats.
The main way to acquire a cat would be by trading with a village (maybe the Driiki should be guaranteed to have some, the others possibly, while the northern tribes very rarely if at all).
Alternatively one might come across feral cats, which the player could attempt to tame as one would in real life - with slow prolonged exposure to you and offerings of food and warm shelter. It shouldn't be a guaranteed success though, and feral cats should be a rare sight overall as they were still a newcomer species during the period.

That reminded me of this ancient meteor crater in Estonia and an old Finnish story that possibly concerns it (probably doesn't, but who knows?).
