Bug reports / Re: Item duplication

I also noticed the bug back in version 3.20. So I think this is an old bug in old code.

Gameplay questions / Re: Ritual "Rod fisherman's sacrifice"

Open water season starts when there is absolutely no ice on water in zoom in map. If you perform the spell successfully, the fish disappears, otherwise it will be floating on water.

Suggestions / Re: Making waiting time of tasks adjustable
« on: October 13, 2018, 12:16:31 PM »
Fishing takes about 2 to 4 hours, and the real time it takes is relatively short, it is also not realistic. I do not expect be realistic in a game like this. If you want to be realistic, you have to make real time equal to game time.
Btw, what I suggest is to add an option, you do not need to use it.

Suggestions / Making waiting time of tasks adjustable
« on: October 13, 2018, 09:27:15 AM »
I always find the time needed for various tasks is a bit long and annoying. For example, when I have to grind several bags of rye, I have to wait more than 5 seconds for each grinding run and soon it gets boring. Training carpentry by making shortbows is not practical unless you have a lot of time and patience. Tanning a fur is one of the most time consuming tasks with regard to game time but it may not necessarily require more than 10 seconds of real time. There is already an option to increase spend delay, so I think there may be one more option to decrease the spend delay.

It seems that all kids cannot recover from any injuries. 3 kids in a driikilais village are still grievously wounded by a njerpez warrior after more than a month. All injuries are minor punctures.

Bug reports / Pots are consumed when grinding flour
« on: September 01, 2018, 02:32:16 PM »
There is a stack of 3 pots of boiled marsh calla roots and when working with those 3 pots together those pots disappear after grinding is done. By grinding one by one the pot remains after grinding.

Also, boiling bag of pea consumes the bag.

General Discussion / Re: A safe place for cows

This setting cannot protect against bears. Bears will just smash through fences and kill your animals. So be careful when bear is wandering around your settlement.
We know bears can smash fences (and open doors), and we know wolves can jump over them, so the question is not one of whether they can get through technically, but whether their path finding will cause them to get through. The only way to find out is to build the setup and wait for a bear to see what happens.
I reply here because I do use the setup and a bear just killed my cow so I speak from my experience.

General Discussion / Re: What's Going On In Your Unreal World?

Just checked map and found the area near my settlement turned purple! I wandered around that area and found a njerpez war camp. This is interesting because the camp is not the camp of the run away slave scenario. This made my Koivulainen man worried and now he is preparing to raid the camp.
