For what it’s worth, it seems to me that leaving them off the zoomed-out map makes more sense. Not only is a purposefully built lean-to something that can be spotted among trees (as opposed to one tree with a fallen tree propped against it, which could be naturally occurring), but in terms of game immersion. Your adventurer might have been freezing, exhausted, or lost in the middle of the night when they made this shelter—it would make sense that they wouldn’t remember exactly where it was, especially if they moved on to create something bigger and more comfortable after surviving their immediate circumstances.

This could also lead to some happy accidents for people who play challenges, or those who explore the zoomed-in maps more frequently when traveling. Maybe they’re wandering far from their home base in territory they’re only somewhat familiar with—but, hey, it turns out they made a quick shelter the last time they came this way and don’t have to spend time building a new one if they don’t want to!

Now a harder question... will the shelter you find in the wounded adventurer quest remain a regular shelter, or will there be the option for it to be one of these post spruces?

Very neat! Sounds like something that’ll come in handy during especially cold winters or for tired hunters.

Will these makeshift shelters also show up in the zoomed-out map the way the current shelter does?
