What if you smoke meat in a village sauna building? They light the fireplace pretty much every day. Would that be tracked and allow the smoked meat process to succeed?

I'm not completely sure, but I think you can't smoke food in a sauna anymore (just like you cannot pour water on the normal fireplace, to bathe).

Well, the refrigeration bonus starts immediately, that's the only advantage - but it's not a small one if you are not often at your homestead. I always dry in the cellar.

I think with about 20 fences and 3-4 pit traps you should be fine. I completed it yesterday, first I made a 10-fence with 1 pit trap and it didn't work, then I made a longer one with 4 pit traps. For it to complete, you need to zoom out: so after you put 3 pit traps in your existing fence, you can go iteratively by making a fence, zooming out, making a fence, zooming out, until it works.

Unless it has changed, Advanced Adventures game course doesn’t have completion reward. Just the Basic one does.

:O I was fairly sure it would reward you.. but in truth, it's been many long years since I've completed the advanced one :P

The stat increase is generalised, just like the other course :D

You get +1 on every stat ;)

Generally when it's leashed, I go with a hunting/broad knife to the neck. It usually dies immediately and it's also quite realistic. Another interesting option could be to get your hands on a mace. I think a mace hit on the head might make it unconscious immediately - a club, less likely so.

Make sure you are not encumbered / tired so your hit has a higher chance of.. hitting.
