Re: [3.70b] Dropping a single 0.5 kg reindeer cut adds 145.5 kg to 'Carrying Weight' Fixed. It was like described above. Now we'll be having only kg and lbs base units displayed in carried load statistics screen.

Fixed - persists in 3.70beta.

Re: [3.70b] Loop Snares Getting Disassembled It is intended that big animals may now trigger traps while moving through them.  So and elk crossing your loop snare may very well trigger it.

What we have to tune is that domestic animals don't trigger your traps - which is likely the case here.

Also, previously wild animals didn't enter trap tiles which didn't affect to them so you could use loop snares as quite effective barricade. That is history now, animals can pass traps that don't affect to them, and as mentioned above also possibly trigger them on their way.

Re: 3.70b No wandering Njerpezit raiders + No Bandits? Tested, seems to work as intended, no reason to suspect a bug. There are no changes to robbers or Njerpez availability in 3.70.
Robbers can be encountered similarly in any cultural area. Njerpez are most common in the east, and almost absent in the far west and far north.
In my tests travelling from Driik to Kaumo four different parties of robbers were generated in the world, outside quests.
Hanging around in Reemi and Kaumo for a week, debugging for Njerpez raider probability, three different wandering Njerpez parties were found in the world - so thats pretty constant scouts travelling. My character never met any of these robbers nor Njerpez, but they do exist just like before.

If somebody is still in serious doubt, I can quickly check out a savegame to confirm.

Re: Make foreign traders easier to locate A way to deal with the current situation:

Mark the tile where you encounter them, and then return to that tile when you've fetched your goods. Keep track of which direction you moved in before zooming out so you can reverse it when returning, and keep track of if you zoomed out in an adjacent tile, in which case you may want to zoom in there instead to backtrack precisely.
Once you're back at the location where you encountered them you should be able to follow their footprints.

Re: 3.70 beta 3 - randomly catching branches while rod fishing Just tested - mystery rapids fishbranches are not edible.  After picking up my teeth, I tried starting a fire with one  fishbranch, and two normal branches.  This worked as usual, so the fishbranches do seem to function as branches except that they won't stack with other branches.

I tested making an arrow and the fishbranch also worked for that.   I can't test it works as a splint as I have no suitable injuries, but I am guessing that it does.

Re: Acquiring Yarn in the North
Village stocks are generated on first visit, so finding an unvisited village could prove fruitful in acquiring yarn.

This worked! I looked around for an undiscovered village and the one I found had yarn I could trade. Thanks for the help!

Allow paying with same item you're trading for (different quality) I've always found frustrating the fact that you can't pay with the same item that you're trading for in different quality.

Typical scenario is:
- Going to a village to see what they have
- Find a better quality item X that the one I'm carrying
- Want to exchange it with the one I have and pay the difference with something else
- Villager says "It's you that want X, not me" (or similar)

This forces me to make two trades, one to acquire better quality item, and one to dispose of lesser quality item.
This causes:
- Nuisance
- Overhead, you lose a bit on any transaction
- Needing the full trading price of better quality item excluding lesser quality item

I think this was set up when there was no quality to items, but right now I don't think it makes much sense

Rebalance fishing with nets in winter Imho, fish caught in the net is spoiling too fast now.
It have to stay alive near a week or even more in winter in cold water, but not only a day or two.
