Re: [3.61, Windows] Village dogs attacking This has been addressed now.

 - added: aggressive village dogs calm down together with their masters

In case of minor breaches villagers might punish you for a while and calm down after you had learned your lesson - but their dogs didn't react accordingly. Now village dogs will calm down if their masters do so.
This doesn't prevent village dogs from being a serious threat as they don't always reason the power of their attacks the same way the humans do and may cause lethal wounds by accident.

PS. Dogs (like all the animals) already have individual variety to their reactions based on their underlying attributes and situation. Some are more brave, some are more prone to flee etc. etc. so there are potential features to be discovered.

Re: Moddable animals? I looked back and it seems I never released publicly.

I just exploited the weight tag on an item ie: harness, pack etc.

set weight tag of a crafted item to a negative number.
[WEIGHT:-50]

Anything holding/wearing the item has a 50 lb increase in carry weight.

NOTE: I've not used this for several versions and haven't confirmed that the vulnerability still exists.

Re: Moddable animals? Yes "-50" will remove 50 lbs of weight from the load carried.

Re: Moddable animals? Tree trunks weigh 500 lbs in-game, and carved logs weigh 400 lbs in-game.

Re: Tracks covered and decayed by snowfall and rain
Because tracking might become nigh to impossible if it rains/snows several times a day in some areas killing the tracks? But I am speaking too soon, let's see first how it works out.

Surely it might, occasionally, but many things in the (unreal) world are occasionally impossible, or require some planning. It's simply the nature of the nature, and the very essence of this very game. But well, I'm quite sure it won't be so dramatic change as it may sound now. We'll see then.

Re: wiki and email I checked out these options and MediaWiki e-mail preferences making sure they are true and active. But with a test account it fails for me too.
We'll try to take a closer look soon enough. It may require installing extensions or to upgrade MediaWiki version.

Re: Traps setup I misunderstood the "can I make something for humans" as being actively targeting them, yes, but I also provided the answer for getting them to detect and avoid traps (trap arrays and traps being part of trap fences).

I didn't answer the distance question as I don't know the answer...

Re: Traps setup I also don't know the exact answer to your question, but I know that when you zoom into a tile, it loads a 3x3 region of tiles with your current tile at the center of that, so i'd expect you could surround your home at least 128 paces away with traps if you wanted to.

This is a low estimate, I expect you'd still get some traps activity even if you had them farther out.
