can't wait to see this in game. by the way, does it mean that iron tools or weapon can be repairable some day？Sometimes people will stint on blocking with their precious materwork weapon to save them from loss of durability or espically quality. but if high quality tool or weapon are craftable, there will be no need for such stint anyway.

Is there a shortcut key for picking up and wielding an item at the same time?
I recalled that I once saw a post about the shortcut key for picking up and wielding an item in the same turn, but I forgot which key combination it is. That would be a very useful shortcut key espically during white hot combat. So, I wonder if anyone knows it and would like to remind me of it or if there's actually such a shortcut key. Thank you very much.

Once being the only survivor after a brutal fight against a whole Njeperzit village, I carried my owl-tribe adventurer companion's dead body all the way back to his home in the far north. When I tried to give the body to his fellow villagers, they just said that it's something they didn't want to hold  . Of course, it's just the way how it's coded. But it still feels strange to see that they don't even know their own fellow villager. Wish that there could be more vivid interaction with NPCs in the future maybe.

When I tried to give the body to his fellow villagers, they just said that it's something they didn't want to hold Plus: Then I tried to stuff the body to the village oven, you know, to cremate that dead companion, but it turned out that it didn't work. Then I have no choie but to carry the body out of the village to a nearby woods and burn it. I also tried once to bury a body during summer before. However, filling a pit you digged won't make things dropped on that tile get buried. There's no such a system. As for ship burial, you couldn't make it either, because the boat won't go away with the fluss of water...... Since the dead person's fellow villagers do nothing with his body and there's no other good funeral method, the only way you can properly do with a body is to burn it simply on fire. What keyboard layout do you use to play URW? Is it an English US layout or some other one? I remember a long time ago I had a different issue with Hungarian keyboard layout that Sami had to fix for me. Thank you for the idea. It's American layout (ANSI keyboard). I actually thought about the layout types, too, so I tested that keyboard on another computer and it worked. So the factors of keyboard types or drivers are excluded. The problem should be more likely with that computer itself, on which the command doesn't work. A funny thing I discovered in one of my attempts to fix this problem is that I can't assign "ctrl"+"," as a shortcut key of the system or any software on that computer, however they become assignable after changing the system language to any other language than English (UK,US... no matter what type of English it is). Changing system language doesn't fix the issue in game, though. From a positive perspective, it helps locating where the root of the problem is, I guess. March 15, 2024, 01:07:04 AM |
