Re: BAC 3.85

McKwach, the change for that is pretty easy, the files just need to be renamed, both the diy ones and the menudef one):

Thanks Plotinus. Will try to rename the mod files when I have the chance. :)

Planned to work on 1 file at a time, so I could remove the vanilla recipes from the mod files while I'm at it.

Re: BAC 3.86
Here is the BAC 3.86

Changes made
- Removed vanilla recipes so they don't show up twice.
- Fix the issue of the secondary menus not showing.

Thanks for updating BAC for 3.86, Warslay!  ;D

As usual, just copy and paste everything into the UrW folder?

Re: BAC 3.86
Repairing clothes is crowded out by vanilla recipes in clothing menu.  Solved by commenting them out in DIY_glossary and relying on the copies in the leatherworking mod menu.

Fishing also has too many entries so you can't make some of the vanilla recipes like lippo and repair nets.  I am unfamiliar with the new mod menus so I temporarily commented out one of the mod punts (several) recipes in diy_BAC_Transportation.

There has been a typo for a while in Tall roll of birch bark recipe.  Trunk shouldn't be capitalized.  I think that recipe was in Lumbercrafting.

How do you comment them out?

Just put "//" (without the quote marks) at the beginning of the line. So example:

//moded recipe (or anything, really) you want to comment out

Like that, the game engine will consider anything after the "//" to be comments and will ignore them.

Re: BAC 3.86

yes, and if you see any bug please tell me.

Not exactly a bug, more like an oversight due to the recent changes to wood type.

When I loaded some pine trunks/logs onto the sledwagon (or whatever it's called), the trunks/logs lost their unique wood type and became generic tree trunks/logs. Unloading the trunks/logs from the wagon obviously produces the same generic tree trunks/logs.

Not exactly game breaking, just need to remember to break the pine trunks into pine wood blocks on the spot if I want to craft some shingles instead of loading them onto the wagon and bringing them back to base. :(

Re: Sightings
Ah, c'mon!

Screenshot is my uninhabited private island, where I am trying to be a hermit.

Either they arrived by boat, which then sailed away, or simply swam to your remote, uninhabited island..  :D

Had the same issue with FT mucking around one of the Islander island, although that island was bigger and has 1 village.

Re: BAC 3.86
A very minor point, the "spindle" appears twice in the Textiles menu.

Just mark off one of the "spindle" recipe, either from the vanilla one or the modded one. I marked off the one from vanilla because it's easier to find (although potentially would return when the next update arrive..  :( )

Re: Making new wearable items to the game The BAC mod has several new clothing items added, (loincloth, anyone? ;)) so you might want to check that one out while waiting for someone to show you how to do it.

You can download the latest BAC mod from here.

Hope this helps. :)

Re: UnReal World arrives on GOG
Do we happen to have anyone who knows how the GOG dreamlist works?

At the moment UrW has 1832 votes on the dreamlist - I wonder if the GOG system automatically connects the dreamlist entry with the actual UrW entry? Do all the 1832 voters get a notification that one of their dream games has been added?

I think so, yes.

I got an email from GoG saying that Breath of Fire IV has been added to GoG thanks to the Dreamlist voters (don't remember whether I voted for that game or not, but got the email nonetheless).

At any rate I have upvoted UnReal World on the Dreamlist, so when the game is finally released on GoG (YAY!!!) I'll let you know whether I get another email from GoG or not. :)

Re: UnReal World released on GOG.com Sadly I didn't get any email from GoG re UrW getting released, as per my reply to Erkka here. :(
But never mind.. as long as we have long time dreamlisters/wishlisters buying a copy of the game from GoG, I suppose that's what really matters..  :D

Re: Deconstructing Njerp Kota yields only slender tree trunk? Thanks JP, but no need to move it to bugs section.

Galgana was right. I disabled BAC recipe for the Kota and used the vanilla recipe, and sure enough, each wall section gave me 1 slender tree trunk and 1 ragged reindeer fur when I deconstructed it..  :-[

Mystery solved.  :P

Thanks again all for your help.  ;D

PS wise men say, a picture is worth a thousand words.. so two pictures are worth.. a thousand and one words..?  :-\

'Confiscated' Njerp Kota (with a pile of dead Njerps nearby)

Deconstructed Njerp Kota (and some piles of ragged reindeer furs)
