Re: [3.63 - Steam] Domestic animals fight each others to death Well, the sow had a history of sudden outrage so I would say it might be just the sow gone nuts again. But yeah, it is quite possible they are also territorial, won't hurt to give them more personal spaces. BTW pork stews tastes good, haha

Re: Bow Balance question Not a bow expert nor experienced player, but I guess I can contribute a little to this topic.
I started my current character with very low bow skill (around 20?) and grinding it very hard until it becomes grandmaster level.
Obtained my masterwork longbow in early gameplay and still using it, and obtained masterwork northern bow much more later, so I won't be able to tell how low bow skill level affect the performance of northern bow. I also tested these two bows in a separate testing save using URW character menu.

First thing I notice between the two bows are their drawing/ reloading speed. Northern bow can be draw very fast so you can shoot enemies even they are close enough to melee attack you. In contrast longbow cannot shoot arrows when enemies are that close, they will just attack you before you are able to wield another arrow in second hand.

Second thing I notice is northern bow tend to give me more failed bow skill check even my character already have 95+ bow skill, in contrast longbow tend to give me more steady shot (could be coincidence). Interestingly it seems to only happen when my character actually shooting something, when the shoot is not targeting living creatures i.e. water surface, their performances are more or less the same. When I was grinding bow skill  I also notice northern bow have lower dispersion even in 20 tiles away when compare to longbow, however, the failed shoot from northern bow also tend deviate more significantly.

In short, I can only answer one of the questions, I would say Yes to the "Is the Rate of fire differing?"

Re: Need help on the "Kaumo furs" quest It's in fine quality, can't remember the exact month, should be around dirt month through. If I recall correctly, it should an ordinary fine reindeer skin rather than fine winter reindeer skin.

Re: Any way I can find the npc/ npc's body in wilderness? Another update.
This is Day 7 of 8th week before midwinter point, another year has passed since Armas went missing. A lot of efforts were spent during this year to find this missing adventurer, still can't found him but it is not entirely fruitless this year.

Early winter last year, I conducted a in-depth searching from my settlement to his village, using only zoom-in map to search for his trails around the area and searched a straight line between two places (Man, that's exhausting, 100+ tiles of zoom-in map walking is such a dumb idea, especially when most of the terrains are Spruce mires. No gonna try it again). The charming side of winter is creatures always left obvious trails on snow, however, Armas seems to be no longer in the area, no trails nor his body was found during the search.

After the fruitless search and the massacre (, I finally have some good news. Here I want to thank the helpful soul and powerful shaman @Teellox  who helped me to identify possible coordinates of Armas by communicating with the sprites (Thank you :D). According to the omen, Armas most likely located in the middle of the Seal-tribe territory. A Driikilaiset travel to the Seal-tribe territory! That is surely one of the most adventurous an adventurer would do. I spent months in the northern coast, travel along the seal-tribe land and did some crazy things with locals. The first time I ever ambushed a band of robbers! However, I never found any trails of Armas. Perhaps he wander to other places before I have a chance to catch up with him.

It's been many months later now since the last failing attempt of finding Armas. I started to doubt if I would ever see this adventurer again or does he even alive. However something inspiring just happened: I met Mikko in the wilderness! You might be confused, who's he? He's a Kaumolais adventurer and the most important thing is, I met him in the land of Kuikka-tribe. It's a really long way from the kaumo-land to where we met, I can't help but thinking if Armas is doing the same. Perhaps I should find some time, travel back to the northern coast again and see if I can find him this time. But I guess that's the story of the other time :P

Disengage command & Shouting function for human companion I know currently companion already have several functions, but what I would like to suggest is adding some commands that distinguish them as intellectual human beings from simple-minded hunting hounds.

One of the commands I want to suggest is to ask companion to disengage from enemies. Dogs, although no disengage command available, leash can make them at least stick around you and even stop them from being aggressive by unleash & leash them spontaneously. However human companions cannot be leashed (of course) and more importantly, cannot communicate during the fight, which doesn’t really make senses to me. I already have two companions died from stupidly charge to large pack of beasts without my command/ help and that’s frustrating. Their deaths are really unnecessary if we could just retreat from those animals since most of them are not willing to fight us to death and will flee if injured.

One more thing about the command to companion is the shouting function. We can command dogs out of our sight but can’t command human companions out of sight? This really make no senses to me and I really hope this function get added into game soon.

Re: New fire mechanics? I answered this post earlier in reddit and I really doubt if this is a spam bot again, considering the suspicious links on the signature.

Re: 3.50 villagers dying in wells (again) Actually I had witnessed the whole thing and even asked his name before he decided to end his life in the water pit. That guy didn't struggle at all, what a tough guy.   :P
