Re: Improved trading system I have to admit it - initially, years ago, I was on your same boat. Instead of manually compiling the list, though, I looked for one (there's plenty available, search on this and the old forums, ask on reddit or discord), then I learned how to extract the values from the game objects and produce my own spreadsheets.

After playing a bit longer, though, I warmed up to the barter system. For me now it's annoying that stuff has the same value anywhere. I was extremely happy when Sami patched the board selling "cheat" recently.

What I really want is dynamic prices depending on village needs. It doesn't have to be by individual, but surely it must be by village (we can assume that they share enough so that they have the same surplus, and the same needs).
So it would make sense to go around from one region to the other, becoming a travelling merchant for example.
Or even just a trapper that hunts somewhere in the summer, somewhere else in the winter, and sells the right furs where most appropriate.

This would make knowing the base prices pretty useless, which helps immersion in how the game is "supposed" to be played.

Bushcraft youtubers Since playing URW, I've gotten more and more into watching bushcraft/survival videos. It's really gold for city guys like me, never having experienced the outdoors.

This guy in particular comes very close to URW feeling:

Rune Malte Bertram-Nielsen (danish bushcrafter, blacksmith, green wood worker.. also some Sami-related stuff shown): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO_augYhnO7tF-d4JbSXFuQ

- TA Outdoors (bushcraft, wood buildings, some fishing/hunting, UK): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2SMpy2oZV6BoyJEYShw9bw

Re: Give some love to the Mustelids This is all great stuff! Mustelids do deserve more love :P and it would be nice to spot them more often (at least the "cheap" ones) and be able to recognise them by both behaviour (yay otters!) and sprite.

I think if you go ahead and make the sprites, @Sami might include them in the game. Otherwise, they'd make for a great little mod :)

Re: Agriculture give me a irritation WTF They are all Fallow crops. It's a bit of a quirk.. you plant them at Seedtime, and they disappear the next day. They'll sprout at Fallow, don't worry ;)

It would be nice if, when planted, you didn't see plants but just a slightly different ground tile. They should then sprout after X days if already in the right month, or at the start of the right month.

@Sami what do you think about this?

Re: Agriculture give me a irritation WTF You should try again more systematically. I don't remember the day, but I don't believe it should be late fallow.

Plant them in seedtime and "fast forward" until fallow, then mark the day they all sprout. Do all of them sprout at the same time?

Re: With a little help from companions. And the approaching release. This is so cool! I might finally start using companions more. Expanding the homestead would probably become a much more pleasant task, assuming one has plenty of dried meat in storage :)

It's a pity the Linux release will be delayed, but it's just a few weeks later it's fine. We are good at waiting, here in the URW crew  8)
