Re: Capture dog in the wild? There is a conclusion to this event.

I went back to the game where the dog was still running around me. I wondered if he'd follow me home and started the trek back. After a while he took off going the opposite way, so I hit 'Enter' and went to the strategic map.
NOW, as I look back, I see a man. When I go to him the dog is running around him and there's a bloodsign on the ground nearby. I check his inventory and see that has fox fat and 4 fox cuts. Evidently, the dog was with the hunter, who was previously distantly stalking a fox while his dog was stressing about me and my pack of animals.

So, it's not the Njepr's dog. It's interesting that the hunter's dog had wandered so far from his master.

Head gear, bird leather I've found that a character can wear on his head, all at the same time:
1. Woolen cowl
2. Leather cap
3. Fur Hood
4. Mail cowl
5. Iron helm or a iron spectacle helm

Would this even be possible?

On another subject, I wonder about bird leather as a viable craft item. I'm having trouble visualizing a bird with skin thick enough to make leather, or large enough to make tanning it worthwhile.

Re: turnip seeds Yup. Turnips, such as those the villagers have in stacks in their houses, will be seen in the 'Food' category. Turnips harvested from a garden/crop, by using the Harvest action, will be seen in the 'Plants' category. These latter must be threshed, which results in an equal amount of turnips and seeds.

Re: What's Going On In Your Unreal World? I corrected that. It IS a hauberk...sorry! Aye, it weighs 30, 5 more than the one I'm presently wearing, which is NOT a Long.

Is this new? I got a treasure location from a villager that wanted some Fine arrows. The directions sent me to find an island in Kuikka lands. There were 3 large rocks arranged in a triangle. The treasure was buried between them. So, I took a punt, paddle, and shovel and went searching. Sure enough, I needed the punt just to get around out there and the shovel was required to uncover a treasure. I've not had one hidden this way before. It's usually on a cliff somewhere.

The other thing that I ran across was a herb called ROSEROOT. Never seen it before. So, cool adventure! Has anyone else run across either of these?

Re: Axe haft and spear shaft repair, and alterations On this subject, I OWN the very ax that Abraham Lincoln used to split logs! The head has been replaced and the handle is new, but, it occupies the same space...
