Re: Keeping the game fresh
I always try to play a likeness of myself, and then basically roleplay as myself. Basically, would you do something in the game that you wouldn't do in real life?Very well said May 24, 2017, 03:57:08 AM |

Re: Quality of Life (for the Player) Improvements
1. Changing this would IMHO be much too unrealistic. 2. I like this suggestion. 3. You can already do this by canceling the eating before finished. I call it "tasting" the food. May 27, 2017, 06:34:13 AM |

Re: White screen? anyone?
Works fine for me on XP and always has. No problem installing it either. What's so special about Win.10 anyway? May 30, 2017, 02:11:01 AM |

Re: using "reputation" as currency
The barter system is one of the great things about this game that helps make it unique. Why replace it with an abstract numbers-based system like other games have? There is no currency because in Iron Age Finland there was no currency. Reputation is already a major influence on bartering. Guessing and figuring out what to trade is part of the fun! Re: Confirmation before eating unknown items!
Sometimes unknown mushrooms are just too tempting to pass up (Turn off the confirmation for climbing in urw.ini if that's what you would prefer.) June 06, 2017, 12:04:25 AM |

Re: Confirmation before eating unknown items!
Yes, and let's have the option to turn the confirmation ON or OFF in urw.ini

Smoke From Fires Visible From Distance
Could we have smoke on the wilderness map from fires that lasts for the duration of the fire, plus a bit longer after it burns out? Perhaps smoke could attract other humans just like it would in R/L. July 08, 2017, 04:11:50 PM |

Re: Birch bark for crafting
I think there are many excellent things that have been added with mods. Of course it would be great if many of them were added to vanilla. I agree. But keeping in mind this game is a labor of love developed by one man (with help from his friends), he has decided there are many other larger improvements that keep the game growing rather than incorporate mod ideas that can continue to be used as mods easily enough. I completely agree with that course of action. There is only so much time in a person's life! Give modding a try, it's not that bad July 27, 2017, 12:12:29 AM |

Re: ...fails to deliver a summer release || ...enters summer vacation.
Have a great vacation, Sami. Horseback archery... a fleeting dream of mine that has not come true. It is very cool to see you are doing this! July 28, 2017, 02:03:32 AM |
