Visible Arrows This mod adds floating red-white pointers to arrows for improved visibility whenever you're trying to find those stray projectiles.

truetile sprites edited to have 66x66 pixel dimensions:
  • wp-arrow
  • wp-bharrow
  • wp-blarrow
  • wp-brkarrow
  • wp-btarrow
  • wp-starrow
In case you don't want the floaties active all the time, the original size 34x34 sprites from URW version 3.80 are also bundled in the folder.
File names for these duplicates end with double-v arrovv instead of single-w arrow.

Ability to "nock" an arrow. The ability to hold a bow and single arrow in one hand, whether nocked or unnocked, would be a nice addition. It would allow you to be able to quickly drop the tool or other item in your non bow hand to quickly fire your bow without having to both drop the item in your other hand and then equip an arrow similar to the way the loaded crossbow works. I am unsure as to how Finnish hunters would carry a arrow while they are hunting but I could imagine similar to other cultures how people would often carry their arrow/arrows in the same hand as their bow hand while they are actively carrying the bow and not preparing to immediately fire.

Leather cords weight to be adjusted Just noticed funny thing: when making leather cords of worn-out clothes, overall weight of character's stuff increases. One cord takes 0.23 kilos of leather, but its weight is 0.45 kilos, which is pretty much unrealistic.

I suppose a cord should require 0.45 kilos of leather, or its weight should be reduced to 0.23.

I was hoping to work further on plants, but due to lack of inspiration and health reasons, I haven't been working on it for a while now.
It's absolutely possible I'll get back to it some day, at least I hope so! I also had some ideas for the character generator Night and I made, we'll see :)

Once being the only survivor after a brutal fight against a whole Njeperzit village, I carried my owl-tribe adventurer companion's dead body all the way back to his home in the far north. When I tried to give the body to his fellow villagers, they just said that it's something they didn't want to hold :-*. Of course, it's just the way how it's coded. But it still feels strange to see that they don't even know their own fellow villager. Wish that there could be more vivid interaction with NPCs in the future maybe.

Plus: Then I tried to stuff the body to the village oven, you know, to cremate that dead companion, but it turned out that it didn't work. Then I have no choie but to carry the body out of the village to a nearby woods and burn it.

I also tried once to bury a body during summer before. However, filling a pit you digged won't make things dropped on that tile get buried. There's no such a system.

As for ship burial, you couldn't make it either, because the boat won't go away with the fluss of water......

Since the dead person's fellow villagers do nothing with his body and there's no other good funeral method, the only way you can properly do with a body is to burn it simply on fire. And sure, you can also burn some objects as well to show respect if you want.

Participating to Free City of Games game art event in Kouvola, Finland Free City of Games, the event showcasing games and game culture is being held in Kouvola, Finland for the second time in November 2.-19.11.2023.
This year I'm happy and honoured to participate the exhibition with an interactive playable installation created together with a long-time fellow coder and friend mr. Pasanen.
Our work is called "Avaruuspuhelin" (Space Phone in English), and it's basically a seriously tweaked old rotary phone which you can use to solve a little extra terrestial mystery in sort of escape room fashion.

So if you happen to reside, or feel like travelling to Kouvola, Finland, feel free to visit the event. It's all free, and features a diverse selection of games and game art to play and experience.


No matter what sort of game you've created, the playtesting is important.
