[Fixed] 3.60 player crafted clothing issues Hey, I'm posting a bug report! Or at least I think these two are bugs. You can expect a patch within 12 hours, but until then it's good to know that:

1. wrong properties of player crafted clothes made of other materials than leather and fur

Mixed corrupted values, from coverage aspects to weight, could end up in eg. player crafted birch-bark clothes,
possibly affecting modded clothes to appear wonky as well. This also resulted in clothes wearing out too soon
if the weight property was one of the corrupted values.

2. player crafted fur and leather cloth weights calculated wrong

Finished cloth weights were based on actual material usage, which didn't follow the intended addition of material
requirements always slightly exceeding the finished cloth weight.

Fixed in just recently released 3.60beta hotfix 1.

Re: Companions help push items Yeah, push-aid is on our to-do. Companions collecting stuff in neat piles would be cool as well, although requires more work.

Re: [3.60 Beta] Returning tying equipment to the Utility menu Unfortunately we don't really have time follow what's going on with mods and adjust things based on that. And flipping things back and forth isn't really desired. Majority play the vanilla game and convenience of spotting tying equipment stuff in tying equipment category is good for them, and that sub-menu is actually going to have more than three items quite soon.

Hmm. Sorry for the inconvenience. A humble vice versa suggestion would be if everything in BAC is actually that necessary for the gaming experience.

Re: Adding "String" vs cord and rope Yes. Now that we've got the measure of length started tying equipment types are going to expand for sure.

Re: Version 3.60 beta [for Windows] released on Steam, and for Lifetime members UPDATE: Sep-17-2019 | 14:00 UTC+2.
3.60 (beta) hotfix 1 released. If you're on beta-branch on Steam your game will auto-update. For lifetimers the hotfix is also available.

Following issues were fixed:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- added: peeling bark from village trees is considered a breach and not allowed

- added: building at the village area is considered a breach and not allowed

- fixed: villagers didn't mind using their lumber for building something

- fixed: villagers didn't mind utilizing their logs with timbercraft options

- fixed: wrong properties of player crafted clothes made of other materials than leather and fur

Mixed corrupted values, from coverage aspects to weight, could end up in eg. player crafted birch-bark clothes, possibly affecting modded clothes to appear wonky as well. This also resulted in clothes wearing out too soon if the weight property was one of the corrupted values.

- fixed: player crafted fur and leather cloth weights calculated wrong

Finished cloth weights were based on actual material usage, which didn't follow the intended addition of material requirements always slightly exceeding the finished cloth weight.

- fixed: birch-bark ropes occasionally losing their rope status, and not working as one

- fixed: birch-bark worked as cloth material, allowing making of bandages for example

Re: [3.60 beta] Is season or time of year now knowable to a recipe? There's no moddable time code. Modding additions are always listed in news.txt.

(PS. Birch-bark canoes weren't actually used in UrW era and setting, and I believe the birches used in birch-bark canoes were of different tree type: paper birch, (lat. Betula papyrifera.),  whereas birches in the game are different type of birches. Paper birch bark properties make it far more suitable for canoes.)

Re: Version 3.60 beta [for Windows] released on Steam, and for Lifetime members
I really love the release! Unfortunately i've found a bug

That's very fortunate actually, since bugs are something we don't want in there. :)

When you use a 15 feet cord to make arrows, it doesn't deplete at all

Sorry if I did report it in the incorrect way, just couldn't find a proper forum

We have "Bug reports" section right here at the forums.
I'll cut and move your post there. Thanks for the report, and solving it also.

Thanks for your work!!

Edit: I think i've found the bug, check the arrow and the blunt arrow recipe

Quote
.Arrow. [effort:1] [phys:hands,one-armed]     *CARPENTRY*        /30/    [patch:5]
{Branch}      [remove] [patchwise] [noquality]
{Knife}
{Feather} (3) [remove] [patchwise] [noquality]
{Cord} =1=    [patchwise]
{Rock}        [remove] [patchwise] [noquality]

.Blunt arrow. [effort:1] [phys:hands,one-armed]  *CARPENTRY*       /45/    [patch:5]
{Branch}      [remove] [patchwise] [noquality]
{Feather} (3) [remove] [patchwise] [noquality]
{Cord} =1=    [remove] [patchwise]
{Knife}

I think the "remove" command needs to be added on the arrow recipe. Did that and now my cord depletes acordingly

Indeed. There's [remove] missing. Thanks.

Re: [3.62 beta-hotfix 1] village dogs keep waking me up Something that can happen IRL too. ;)
I don't consider this a bug right away, as it's intended that character wakes up to noises.
It can be annoyance though, but we have to think of what to do, or not.
No need for a save just yet.

Re: [3.62 beta-hotfix 1] Can't unleash dogs Fixed. It's intended that birch-bark ropes work as leashes, but their properties weren't paid attention at unleashing. Hang in there, it might be that 2nd hotfix will be released tonight.

Fixed - persists in 3.60b-hotfix1
