Title: Does deforestation increase the visibility of my settlement to bad guys?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried checking the archive but it's 404 for me right now.

Wondering if chopping down lots of trees on my settlement tile will increase the chance of robbers and Njerps showing up?

 This shouldn't have any affect on them showing or not.
