Hey guys

Can we mod animals? I am thinking about modding the weight an animal can carry until the big Elks add companion carriers.

 Nope, I did make an animal pack (mod) which increased it's carry weight.

I looked back and it seems I never released publicly.

 I just exploited the weight tag on an item ie: harness, pack etc.

set weight tag of a crafted item to a negative number.
[WEIGHT:-50]

Anything holding/wearing the item has a 50 lb increase in carry weight.

NOTE: I've not used this for several versions and haven't confirmed that the vulnerability still exists.

Quick question. How much is 5 logs in terms of weight? -50 is -50lbs? Because I want to make something that would simulate a bull pulling 5 logs at maximum. Thanks

EDIT: 520 or so

Yes "-50" will remove 50 lbs of weight from the load carried.

Tree trunks weigh 500 lbs in-game, and carved logs weigh 400 lbs in-game.

 I don't know if you can push the exploit that far. I don't recall going beyond 'removing' 50 lbs.

Well that doesn't help me too much, I wanted to make something for my bulls, since there is no sledge and no companion hauling trees.
