Title: Re: Injured adventurer reward
Post by: Tom H on September 23, 2018, 09:22:51 PM
Having found the hunter's camp and retrieved the woodsman's axe (which I don't even have!), I was honorable and gave him his father's axe. His reward to me was training in Stealth. However, I see no increase in my stealth statistic.

The hunter said when I NEXT use stealth I should notice improvement. Will that skill number be increased?

Yes, use stealth and it will be increased. :)

If I remember correctly, the reward skill increases are not marked with stars, so the only way to note them is to see that the value has increased by knowing what it was before.

lol... The guy attacked a njerk, with his spear in hand, and got ripped to shreds by the other guy's knife. I was so disappointed!

Combat is lethal in UrW. If your character is good go have a good chance, and with good player skills/exploiting the system you can take them down with little risk (but there's always some). A dog is a very useful meat shield, although you can easily get yourself killed if you try to save the dog rather than escape when things go south...
